The yearly THBDF Fall Festival was held at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN on October 24, 2015. The festival is an opportunity for children with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders to get together for some fun with others who understand the difficulties with which they confront daily.
The Tennessee Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorder Foundation did an outstanding job this year in spite of the rainy weather. Nothing but smiles abounded.
Activities included hay rides, face painting, games, raffles, pumpkin painting, a costume contest, great food and this year, Grassmere Zoo came out to show off some really cool animals including a porcupine. Most donating their time, energy and money by volunteering to help the hemophilia community.
The festival also provides support through THBDF advocacy and their vendor associations to educate and empower families dealing bleeding disorders. Vendors educate and provide products and services for the community which, of course, lots of freebees and goodies.
